Do you know what this is?

That is the dog food container. The red and green things are the army-guy gummies we gave Brooke - thinking she was eating them! But we later discovered she was throwing them in with the dog food!!

Maybe its not as funny to everyone as it is to me - but I thought it was so cute and funny!

Pregnancy and Me!

I've been a bad blogger! It has been awhile! I did try to upload a very cute video of Brooke climbing her stroller, but for some reason it didn't work!

Anyhow...this post is about me and the new baby. Just to say we are both doing well. All mine and the baby's stats are good. Besides feeling fairly huge, I feel good. With the humidity here - I have a bit of asthma trouble and some swelling...but overall, I can't complain.

Today is 3 weeks until the scheduled c-section. So, unless this little one decides he/she wants to come early - that is when we will meet the new baby! I am very excited! I still can't believe how time has flown.

Ok, with Brooke, for some reason there were no pictures of me after about 32 weeks. So this time, I wanted to try to be sure to get more.

Cleveland Rocks!

Well...as the weather gets nicer, we get busier - so no posting! I can't believe I have slacked a whole month when I was doing so well! But it happens, and I am back!

So, we just went to Cleveland...got back last Tuesday. It was fun but busy...seems we (ok, maybe me) plans too much when we go anywhere and it ends up being fun but exhausting!

We went to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame - no pictures there since they don't allow it. A big bummer. It's a little smaller than I imagined. But still neat. Probably one of the coolest things was a set/props from Pink Floyd's The Wall - it was really cool. And seeing every one's outfits and how tiny some of them were/are - especially the guys. I swear Freddie Mercury was a little boy - his stuff looked like kids stuff! And some of those guys are really short! Its like you have to be a tiny skinny short guy to be in the Hall of Fame!

The only picture you can take - of the outside!

We also went to the Cleveland Zoo. It was fun - saw some interesting things. Kangaroos, porcupines, a neat rain forest. And somehow, their elephants were really cool - very active and fun to watch! I think they were also Brooke's favorites!

The Cleveland Science Museum. Pretty cool. Had a neat display on the Great Lakes. And just fun stuff to play with!

We also went to the Christmas Story movie house and museum. It was actually pretty cool. Literally just in the middle of a neighborhood...but the story behind it and how it was recreated was neat. This house gets about 1200 people per DAY from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

I met up with 2 of my lovely online friends and their babies that are Brooke's age. We met at the Cleveland Children's Museum and then had lunch. That was very fun. I was exhausted by the day I met them and Brooke was doing a little screaming - but it was fun and I am so happy to have met them in person. Deseree has fair Raygan - she is 17 months and Deseree is pregnant and due in September, and Krystle has Lilyana - about 16 1/2 months and Krystle is pregnant and due in November. So, 3 toddlers and 3 preggos! It was fun! (Unfortunately because my camera was working on a delay - I didn't get a good shot of Miss Lily and her pretty face).

Brooke and Raygan - Brooke is in love w/ the play cars right now! This was about the only moment she let someone else play with the steering wheel!

15 month stats...

Brooke went to the doctor on Monday. She is still the little peanut! Her weight is 19 pounds, 13 ounces, and her height is 29 1/4 inches. She is still right in line with HER own curve. Only considered in the 5-10 percentile - but growing perfectly within her range.

All of her milestones and motor skills are met or surpassed (because she is brilliant!). So, everything is great with her! She got her MMR and chicken pox shots - she cried real hard - but only for maybe 2 minutes. It's harder on mom to watch than it is for her! She got a bit of a fever a few hours later - but it was gone by morning...so all is well!

She goes again right before the new baby is born for her 18 month check up. She gets two more shots and then that is it until school age except a yearly flu shot.

I don't want to post without pictures so here are a few!

New Skill

Brooke has learned yet a new skill today. If we weren't in trouble already! We can't leave her alone for a moment!

I screwed up the first video - although it showed it much better. But here is a quick and grainy video.

Here is a play by play in regular pictures!
