Well, here is our official announcement post!
We are expecting another baby! Due July 1st!
It is such an exciting time! Brooke and her new sibbling will be 18 months apart. This fact scares me as I think "2 under 2"!! What were we thinking?! Brooke still doesn't even sleep through the night on most days! BUT...on the other hand - it is SO exciting. I think it will be so great have two close together.
This pregnancy has been pretty uneventful. I am feeling good. Luckily, I again, did not have major morning sickness. I just had to eat every couple of hours so I didn't get nauseous. That is better now - I don't have to eat so frequently. I was also extremely exhausted. That has largely passed now too - so I at least have some energy and can stay up past 9pm!
And for the record, since it is a popular question...We again, will NOT be finding out the sex of the baby. I like surprises, and so does Kevin - although I think he is also afraid to find out its another girl!!!
Kevin & I met, dated, broke up, got back together, got engaged...and got married on August 21, 2004. For our first anniversary we got our dog, Maggie. Then on Friday, December 22, 2006 we were blessed with our beautiful daughter Brooke Madeleine. And on June 26, 2008 we had our second beautiful daughter, Lorelei Grace. This blog is about us.

Christmas '07
Christmas has come and gone. I can't believe it! Obviously with Brooke's birthday and everything else, it was a very busy holiday season for us. Parties, visiting family and friends...lots of running around...and very little rest. Who allowed us to have a baby 3 days before Christmas?!! Did we think it just wasn't busy enough during that time! So, long story short, I love Christmas time, but I am kind of glad it is now over. It's much more relaxing!
For those that asked - Brooke was not into unwrapping gifts. We might have been able to get her to rip a little wrapping paper, but it didn't hold her interest long enough to find out what was inside. I can say everyone was way too generous. Now our living room is a mini toy store!
Well, we just finished putting away the tree and decorations, and here's a few shots from the holidays...
Cute in her Santa hat!
Unwrapping with Godfather Aaron
Aren't I adorable!
Playing with Uncle Cory
Xmas Eve fun!

Thinking unwrapping is boring!
She's One!
I cannot believe she is 1! This first year went by too fast! And although I am very much enjoying Brooke with her talking and walking and intelligence and personality...I am sad the months were she just wanted to be held went by so fast! But we have the best one year old ever - so no complaining here!
We squeezed both sides of the family over to our house on Brooke's birthday (12/22) for cake and presents. See below for some pictures of some of the festivities!
